Our Rooms

Ooty is a good base for exploring the region’s scenic mountain lakes, where you can hike, fish for trout, or relax with a picnic. The town itself centers on artificial Ooty Lake, where there are several places to rent pedal and row boats.
Surrounded by forest, Pykara Lake is another favorite spot for boat trips, with options including a relaxed, scenic cruise or a short, adrenaline-pumping speed boat ride. Sunset is a popular time to visit Emerald Lake, with views of hillside tea plantations and the chance to spot colorful native birds like the Nilgiri flycatcher.
